The Goods we only want to sell products that we like, are good quality  and are from ethical sources.  Products are only marked as organic  if they are gaurenteed as such.  Many of our products are made by cottage industries in the UK and we have visited their businesses.  Those products which come from overseas are all "fairly traded" although not all carry a "fair trade" logo as the companies have found this prohibitively expensive.  Often the products are made by co operatives.  We endevour to find out about the principles of each supplier.  However as it is not possible to visit every supplier and every producer personally we sometimes have to take these principles in good faith.  If you want further information about a particular product then please contact us. 

Purchasing Goods payment is made through a secure payment gateway, we are currently using paypal on this site which allows you to pay either through your paypal account or directly by a credit or debit card.  We never see your credit card details.   The payment goes directly into the Dutch Nursery s paypal account.  Any refunds also come directly from this account.  If for any reason goods are out of stock when we recieve your payment - we will notify you and issue an immediate refund of your payment.  We have no minimum order limit.

Dispatch and Delivery we aim to dispatch your delivery as soon as possible after your payment has been processed and you should normally recieve your goods within 7 days depending on the dispatch method selected.  We use Royal Mail as it is currently the greenest form of delivery and offer you a choice of first class signed for, second class signed for or special next day delivery.  The postage cost is automatically calculated based on the total weight of your order and is displayed on the check out page.  Currently these prices are only displayed for dipatch within the UK with a total weight of less than 10kg.  We can ship outside the UK and larger weights but please contact us by email and we will give you a price before you decide whether to purchase the goods.  If you are out when Royal Mail deliver and the package requires a signature they will take your parcal back to the local sorting office - they will leave a card advising you of this.  We cannot take any responsibility for delays or failure to get your goods to you resulting from any cause beyond our control such as acts of god or compliance with laws and regulations.

Tax all product prices displayed include vat currently set at a rate of 15%.

Returns and Refunds Every product on this website has been carefully selected for quality as well as its eco credentials however if you are not happy with a product for whatever reason you can return it to us within 30 days.  We will either exchange the goods or refund you the full purchase cost.  We ask that you inspect packages on delivery and if there are any signs of damage do not sign for it and return it unopened to us.  If the goods are damaged when you open the box please contact us by email and return the goods.  If the goods are  being returned because there is a problem with their quality or condition on arrival we will refund the return postage costs as well as the cost of the goods.  Goods should be returned unused and sealed and  in their original packaging we can only accept the return of opened goods if they are faulty.  Goods should be returned to Ecohut c/o The Dutch Nursery Ltd.  Please send us an email to say that you are returning the goods and why and the method by which they are being returned to mary@ecohut.biz   You need to keep your proof of posting the item,without this we cannot be responsible for any items which fail to reach us.  Your rights to return goods are potected under the EU Distance selling directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Privacy your information is held only by the Dutch Nursery Ltd ( of which Ecohut is part ) and will not be disclosed to third parties. We may contact you from time to time with special offers or information about our products.  If at any time you do not want to recieve this information then please follow the link on the email or contact  us at mary@ecohut.biz to tell us and we will remove you from our  list.  The site contains links to other sites over which we have no control and over which this privacy policy does not apply.
