Frugi is a small family run business based on a farm in Cornwall. Lucy Jewson co founder believes that “we need to consume less and that means buying better”. You can’t get much better in terms of both quality and ethics than the frugi collection. The collection is certified as organic by the global organic textile standard (GOTS) and all the cotton comes from a fair-trade supplier. Frugi also supports “1% for the planet” – 1 % of its sales turnover is given to environmental grass roots charities. Frugi clothes are also an “environmental best buy” according to the ethical version of which magazine “the ethical consumer”(April 2008)
